| Do-it-all-office-admin/virtual-assistant Do-it-all-office-admin/virtual-assistant About this opportunity: . · In search of a do-it-all-office-admin/virtual-assistant for a cosmetic-service company based in NYC! · If you are looking for an exciting, demanding job that provides unique experience, this is a special opportunity. · Flexible for 3-5 days a week, about 9 hours a day around 10am-8pm EST, work from home · You will report to the CEO · Independent contractor, but potential for long-term You must: · Be energetic and self-driven to accomplish a lot and learn a lot quickly · Be smart and have great problem-solving skills · Be trustworthy · Be resourceful and enjoy getting things done on a startup budget · Have web and computing skills -- the more the better, but at minimum good command of MS Office, Excel preferable · Be VERY proficient in both written and verbal English and have outstanding communication etiquette. We are looking for someone for whom English is or is a mother-tongue -- please only apply if this holds true for you! · Be able to work from home, have reliable high-speed internet, and be in a quiet environment and available to answer phone calls. · Be able to work for the amount of time listed above Preferable, but not required: · College degree, or higher · Experience with customer service and/or business experiences Example responsibilities: · Customer Service -- accept calls from clients, answer questions, schedule appointments, answer emails and instant messages, maintain client relationship · Manage inventory · Independent tasks - do whatever misc tasks are needed with minimal guidance, e.g. "Evaluate Customer Relationship Management software under $200 and make a recommendation by Friday" or "develop a streamlined new hire paperwork process, make sure employee is 100% set up and productive on their first day." · Exec admin - do whatever else is needed to help the company keep moving quickly! Keep in mind that we are a start-up company, so please keep things on the affordable end & when the company grows, things may change.
